Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 16 September 2026

1. Who we are

CA Contractor Exam ("we", "us") is an online exam preparation service operated by a sole proprietor based in Ukraine. Full legal and contact details are available on request at support@cacontractorexam.com.

We are an independent study tool. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Contractors State License Board (CSLB), PSI Services, or any government body.

2. What you are buying

An access pass to our online practice material for the California contractor Law and Business examination: practice questions with explanations, timed mock exams, flashcards and progress analytics, in English and Spanish. Access lasts for the period stated at checkout (for example 90 or 180 days), starting when your account is activated.

All questions are written by us from public sources such as the CSLB study outline, the Contractors State License Law, the California Labor Code, Cal/OSHA regulations and IRS publications. We do not sell, and do not have, real examination questions.

3. What we do not promise

4. Payment

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service enquiries and handles returns. Payment is made to Paddle, and Paddle's buyer terms apply to the transaction alongside these terms.

Prices are one-time payments shown at checkout. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal. Sales taxes are handled by Paddle and may be added depending on your location.

5. Your account

6. Refunds and pass guarantee

See our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. If the service is unavailable for a long period during your access window, contact us and we will extend your access.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for your access pass. We are not liable for examination results, lost income, licensing decisions or other indirect losses.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The version published on this page at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase. Material changes will be noted with a new "last updated" date.

10. Contact and complaints

Questions: support@cacontractorexam.com. We reply within 2 business days. Complaints are handled at the same address; if we cannot resolve a payment issue, Paddle's support can be contacted as Merchant of Record.
